There are two Bike to School events, in Memphis, on Wednesday! Peabody Elementary, in Cooper Young has a “Bike Train” that’s riding through the neighborhood and picking up “passengers” along the way. And Downtown Elementary has a ride from Court Square to the school.

Community support is really important for these rides. In fact, we learned that Downtown Elementary won’t allow the parents organizing their ride to use the school’s name! Revolutions has a great relationship with Peabody Elementary and that school is super excited about our ride. Principal Nelson and PE Coach Renwick are even riding with us! But both communities still need your support. You can help show the school communities how fun riding to school can be, even if you don’t have kids at these schools! Won’t you Bike to School, on Wednesday?!

Bicycle Story Time–Saturday!

I’m sure the weather is going to be gorgeous, on Saturday, so we can do another Bicycle Story time and How to Ride bicycles class (do you see how tightly my fingers are crossed?!?!) We’ll be Downtown at the Cossitt Library at 2:00 p.m. Bring kids, their bikes and helmets and we’ll get them riding! More information, here.
