Have can you get involved?
Mondays and Thursday evenings from 6-9, Friday afternoons 2-7 and Sunday afternoons 2-6 are times for everyone to be involved in fixing up bicycles. We host classes, Open Shop time and volunteer hours. Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about working on bikes. We have experienced volunteers here to help. And we’ll show you which tools do what.
Open Shop is a chance to use Revolutions’ set of tools and experience to work on your own bike. Not sure you know what to do? Don’t worry. We will try to figure it out, together!! During Open Shop we also offer retail, rentals & service to the public.
Check the calendar for what’s going on each Open Shop.
Women’s Bike Chat — On the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:00 p.m., women (cis and trans) are gathering in the Shop area to discuss a variety of bicycle issues. Topics and destinations posted on the calendar/facebook. And you can also join our Women’s Bike Chat newsletter by signing up for the Revolutions newsletter and choosing that you are interested in Women’s Bike Chat updates. You can also find us on Facebook. You do not have to be a member of Revolutions to join us for Women’s Bike Chat.
Demolition Nights — This is a night to work through our donated bikes to find parts worth saving, and scrap headed for the scrap heap. Work on this night will also help us keep our stock of used parts sorted and available.
This is a great night for new members to participate in because we’re just breaking down bikes, so you don’t have to worry about breaking something!
