Women’s Bike Chat, TODAY
This month, we’re chatting while we ride. Join us, this afternoon at 2:00 p.m., for a leisurely ride to Belly Acres where it’s your choice: milkshakes, fries, burgers…we’re not judging.
This ride will be just over 2 miles each way. You should be about to ride for about 25 minutes, without a break. We have bikes to rent, if you need one: City Bikes, Family Cargo Bikes and trail-a-bikes that we can help you attach to your bicycle, so a kid can help you pedal.
Sunday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. More details here.
Fix A Flat, TOMORROW
Don’t let flat tires keep you from riding. Join Revolutions and let us help you learn to fix the flats! Monday, July 17 at 6:30. Read more and sign up, here.
Bike to Dinner, on Wednesday!
Do you know the joys and delights of eating Venezuelan Arepas?! If you have not yet had these, you must join us on Wednesday as we head to Sabor Caribe. You are guaranteed a fun ride and a delicious meal!
This ride will be just over 4 miles each way. You should be able to ride for about 45 minutes, without a break. We have bikes to rent, if you need one: City Bikes, Family Cargo Bikes and trail-a-bikes that we can help you attach to your bicycle, so a kid can help you pedal.
Rides meet at Revolutions, on the Cooper-side of First Congo, in front of our gate with bike art above it. We’ll meet at 6:30 p.m. and roll out by 6:45, at the latest. If you are renting bikes, please arrive by 6:15 p.m.
All rides are weather dependent (we will postpone, if it looks like rain). And we require helmets on all Revolutions sponsored rides. Bring your bike in to Revolutions ahead of time for a tune-up, to make sure it’s ready to ride! Please bring a locks, if you can. We take a pretty easy pace. Please remember that you ride at your own risk.
Don’t let not having a bike keep you from riding with us. We have bikes for sale, in our Shop. And we also rent adult bikes and kid’s trail-a-bikes and family cargo bikes for $5-10 plus tax, on the day of a group ride.
Bike to RiverPlay, July 29
Have you roller-skated Downtown, yet? On Saturday, July 29, DJ RedEye is spinning tunes for Trip Hop Skate Night. Bring a picnic to eat, if you want. Or get food from El Mero Taco Truck. We know you can roll on the bicycles. Now, we want to see your roller skating skills!
Rides meet at Revolutions, on the Cooper-side of First Congo, in front of our gate with bike art above it. We’ll meet at 5:30 p.m. and roll out by 5:45, at the latest. If you are renting bikes, please arrive by 5:15 p.m.
Bicycle Tune-Up Class
We have a new class, starting in August. Do you have a bicycle that needs some love? Are you unsure how to get started? In this three-part class, we will discuss and practice how to “tune-up” all of the major components on your bicycle. In this class, we will cover how to do regular maintenance on your favorite ride. We hope you will join us! Read more and sign up, here.
