Camps and Classes!

How to Ride in the Street class: STARTS SOON!

Do you know how to ride a bicycle but feel nervous about riding in the street, alone?

If you answered yes to these two questions, then join us this Spring for our How to Ride in the Street class!

This class meets for 4 Sundays: March 26, April 2, 9 and 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Fix a Flat

Sometimes our Revolutions members tell me that they are embarrassed that they don’t know how to fix a flat. But there is no reason to be embarrassed! We’re here to help. Join us Monday, March 20 at 6:30 for a hands on class. If you bring your own bike, you can practice what it will be like when you’re out on the road. Or, you can practice on one of ours. Read more and sign up, here. This class is free for members or $10.

We have Summer Camps

A Holiday Ride, this Week!

St. Paddy’s Eve Beers and Gears

They probably know how to celebrate at Silky O’Sullivan’s, right? This month’s Beers and Gears is headed downtown to find out. Join us on Thursday, March 16, at 7:00 p.m., in front of Revolutions. Plan to ride about 55 minutes each way, at a pace slow enough to chat.

Rides meet at Revolutions, on the Cooper-side of First Congo, in front of our gate with bike art above it. If you are renting bicycles, please come at 6:45.

More info and weather updates, here.

Check us out in the Cooper-Young St. Paddy’s Day Parade!

Revolutions was invited to lead a group of children on bicycles, in the 2nd Annual St. Paddy’s Day parade, in Cooper-Young. So, if you’re looking for some fun on Friday morning, come out to the parade. Don’t forget to wear green!

Final Public Meeting on 9 Bicycle Road Projects

Please mark your calendars for Monday, March 27 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The Division of Engineering is holding a Public Meeting on 9 bicycle road projects, at Benjamin Hooks library. We’ll have more information to share on the specifics of the projects, soon. But please plan to attend to voice your support for the improvements. We feel like this meeting is so important that we plan to close the Shop, for the evening. I have been advised that this meeting will be held in an Open House format. So don’t worry if you have to arrive late! Extra gold stars, to you, if you can ride your bike to this meeting!
