Nov 27: Will it Rain?!

Upcoming Rides!

Ride to Starry Nights at Shelby Farms, POSTPONED?!

We plan to ride out to Starry Nights, tomorrow. But the weather does not look good. Check out our weather / ride cancellation updates, here. If we can’t ride, it sounds like Monday, Dec. 5th is the rain date.

If we can ride, we will meet outside of Cheffie’s at High Point Terrace at 6:30 p.m. Tickets, which can be purchased when we arrive at Shelby Farms, are $5/person.

This ride is about a 15 mile loop from High Point Terrace. We think we’ll be actively riding for about 2 1/2 hours. We take a slow pace where we can chat with each other and take in the lights.

Moms and Tots Ride

Join us on Monday, Dec 5 at 9:30 a.m. for a morning bicycle ride, from Revolutions to Memphis Lake. Bring a snack; and blankets to share. We’ll ride over, let the kids have time to play and then ride back.

Bring your bike trailer, trail-a-bike or bike seats loaded with kids. Or, if your child is at school, just bring yourself! Have a small child, but no way to carry them on your bicycle? Let us show you our Family Cargo Bikes! Meet up at 9:30 a.m. If you are renting bicycles, please come at 9:15 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE for the Starry Nights Ride:
1. We are NOT meeting at Revolutions. We’ll meet at Cheffie’s at High Point Terrace. Either ride or drive there and meet us outside of the restaurant. Maybe grab something to eat BEFORE 6:30.

2. We are NOT renting bicycles for this ride. If you want to get a city or cargo bike from us, you’ll need to get by the Shop on Sunday afternoon. The day rates are $25 to $45.

3. You WILL need lights. The Shelby Farms Greenline is VERY dark, at night. You must bring bicycle lights!

For all of our rides:
All rides meet at Revolutions, on the Cooper-side of First Congo, in front of our gate with bike art above it. If you are renting bicycles, please come 15 minutes early.
All rides are weather dependent (we will postpone, if it looks like rain). And we require helmets on all Revolutions sponsored rides. Bring your bike in to Revolutions ahead of time for a tune-up, to make sure it’s ready to ride! Please bring a locks, if you can. We take a pretty easy pace, one where we can chat with each other! Please remember that you ride at your own risk.
Don’t let not having a bike keep you from riding with us. We have bikes for sale, in our Shop. And we also rent adult bikes for $5, and family cargo bikes for $10 plus tax, on the night of a group ride.

Congrats to our Winners!

Thanks to everyone who played our #IBIKEMPHS contest. The new Midtown Kroger’s parking lot is still very busy. Thanks, to everyone, for demonstrating how to ride bicycles there, instead. Our winners were:

Locking up with the most other bikes on the rack:

Lyn Schultz

And for “getting to Kroger by bike”:

Alan Devlin
Joanna Garner
Ian Hunter

The gift cards are still on the way to us. So, we’ll let you know when you can pick them up (hopefully later this week!).

We thought this was so much fun, we’re checking with other businesses with good bike racks, to see who else wants to play!
