Nov 6, 2016: Push the Clocks Back!

What Happened Last Week

Bikes & Basketball

Check us out at the Grizzlies game:

Have you been to the new Midtown Kroger?

They put in lots of bicycle parking and an outdoor repair stand. We did demonstrations, on Saturday, showing how to use the repair stand. Riding a bicycle to the new store is a MUCH better way to get there because the parking lot is crazy. And we can help you outfit your bike with baskets and bags to carry all your groceries home!

Upcoming Rides!

Moms & Pops & Tots Ride: Mon, Nov 7

Join us for a morning bicycle ride, from Revolutions to Memphis Lake. Bring a picnic snack, and blankets to share. We’ll ride over, let the kids have time to play and then ride back.

Bring your bike trailer, trail-a-bike or bike seats loaded with kids. Or, if your child is at school, just bring yourself! Have a small child, but no way to carry them on your bicycle? Let us show you our Family Cargo Bikes! Meet up at 9:30 a.m. If you are renting bicycles, please come at 9:15 a.m.

Movie Night Ride: Sat, Nov 12

Let’s ride down to the Cossitt Library (33 South Front Street) for Pandemonium, put on by Memphis Public Libraries and award-winning film director, producer and screenwriter Craig Brewer and Black Lodge Video.

On Nov 12, it’s WORLD OF WONKA: 45TH ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE A sweet night 45 years in the making, featuring Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, James and The Giant Peach, in addition to live performances, sing-a-longs, and candy galore! They say Oompa-Loompas will even be there! (Read more about Pandemonium here.)

This ride will be all the way Downtown and back. You should be about to ride for about 55 minutes, each way (or about 12 miles roundtrip).

Meet at 4:00 p.m. at Revolutions, on the Cooper-side of First Congo, in front of our gate with bike art above it. We’ll roll out by 4:15, at the latest. If you are renting bicycles, please come at 3:45. Check for updates here.

For all of our rides:

All rides meet at Revolutions, on the Cooper-side of First Congo, in front of our gate with bike art above it. If you are renting bicycles, please come 15 minutes early.

All rides are weather dependent (we will postpone, if it looks like rain). And we require helmets on all Revolutions sponsored rides. Bring your bike in to Revolutions ahead of time for a tune-up, to make sure it’s ready to ride! Please bring a locks, if you can. We take a pretty easy pace, one where we can chat with each other! Please remember that you ride at your own risk.
