This week is the Shelby County Schools Spring Break. To celebrate, all Revolutions Shop Hours are Open Shop! This means that you can get your bike ready for your Spring rides on Sunday (2-6), Monday (6:30 – 9:00) and Thursday (6:30 – 9:00). Open Shop is open to Revolutions Members. And you can join when you come to the Shop!

Women’s Bike Chat, TODAY!

Women’s Bike Chat is talking bike art, this month. We had a great response last month 670cee62-65f0-407f-9d05-c1c5b94ac727about using our plethora of used bike parts for art. Today, we’ll have a show ‘n tell of art projects. Then we’ll have a little bit of crafting time to try our hand at the projects we like! You don’t have to be art-y, and you don’t have to bring anything. But if you have beads, scrabble pieces, other small trinkets that could be add to our art, bring it along!

The weather has been pretty but what will it look like, on Sunday?! Who knows! We’ll ride if it’s nice. Don’t let not having a bike stop you from riding with us. You can rent one of ours for $5, plus tax!

Fix a Flat — Next Monday

One of the benefits of membership at Revolutions is our Fix a Flat class. Join us next Monday, 28 at 6:30. Read more and sign up, here.

Easy Rider TriCycles — Off to a great start!

Last Friday began the Easy Rider TriCycles program. This group ride is intended for Senior IMG_3370Citizens, but we’ll take anyone who is available on Friday mornings! Our ride offers a way to get outside, visit with friends and get a little exercise. We have ten TriCycles available, so we take turns if more than ten showed up. We were excited to have fifteen riders join us for our first Spring ride.

We are offering a 10:00 a.m. drop in ride, and a second ride at 11:00 for groups from around the City. Please note that we will not ride, this Friday, as it is Good Friday. So, please plan to join us, again, on Friday April 1st (no fooling!). If you know of groups who would like to participate, please email Sylvia at

The Details:IMG_3376

Summer Camp

The boys are signing up. But the girls seem to need some extra encouragement. Do you know a girl (or boy) who loves to ride? Tell them about the Revolutions Wrench & Ride Bicycle Summer Camps! We plan to ride a lot, learn to plan routes and learn to fix up their own bike, in our workshop. Plenty of spots are still available. Please help us spread the word!
