We’ve had great success over the past month fundraising for the Bicycle Ambassadors project at Peabody Elementary. We’ve raised over $3,000!  Could you help our campaign reach our goal? Maybe you’d like to give a gift in honor of a friend or family member? Or maybe you are just looking to do a bit more charitable giving before the end of the year?

You can see our ioby campaign here!

All donations to our campaign are tax deductible!

Training Fleet UpdateIMG_3080

We didn’t quite make our goal of 20 bikes complete before Christmas. But with 17 done, I think we made a valiant effort. We are still more than on track to get 40 bikes ready to ride, by spring. A great big thank you to all the Revolutions members who have worked on these bikes.

Don’t forget, our Training Fleet Overhaul Nights are a great way to start learning or practice your bike maintenance skills. And, you earn Revolutions Bucks, good toward the purchase of one of our bikes that you can fix up for yourself of a friend.

So, we hope you’ll plan to join us for these fun, and busy Overhaul Nights, in 2016!

The Hot Chocolate Ride

Last week, Women’s Bike Chat enjoyed this unseasonably warm weather to take our 2nd Annual Hot Chocolate ride. It’s hard to find a coffee shop that is open on Sunday afternoons that is also far enough away to feel like we really rode to it. Tamp and Tap, downtown was this year’s destination. Due to their tasty beverages, many of us did not choose to drink hot chocolate. But at least one did and we all had a great time!
