We have so much to be thankful for. We have a community of people who love bicycles. And that community shares their knowledge of how to fix up bicycles and what’s the best route to…anywhere around town!
Revolutions will take a quick break, for Thanksgiving and the following weekend. And then we’re back at it, on Monday, Nov 30. We don’t have our usual mid-December deadline to get a bunch of kids’ bikes done. But we’re still anxious to finish our 40 Training Fleet bicycles so we can move on to the Bicycle Ambassadors bikes, just after the first of the year.
Enjoy your turkey dinners…
Bicycle Ambassadors, at Peabody Elementary
Have you heard about our new program for kids? Next semester we want to try a new way of giving out kids bikes. We want to follow 16 kids, in a pilot program, for an entire semester. That way we will have lots of time to practice riding with the children, giving them a chance to get comfortable riding a bicycle to school and teaching them about the resources offered by Revolutions. We hope they’ll get so excited about riding to school, that they’ll encourage others. We have an ioby campaign to tell you more about our project. Will you help us get kids on bikes?
