Next weekend is going to be very busy. On Saturday, Aug 15, we’re providing a Bike Rodeo for a City Biking and Walking event for kids. And on Sunday, Aug 16, Women’s Bike Chat is celebrating a First Anniversary! Before the end of the month, we’re sponsoring the South in Yo Mouth Bike Polo tournament. And we’re also already looking towards September. Cooper-Young Festival, Taste of Cooper-Young and the 3rd Annual Tour De Coop are all right around the corner. So, hop on your bike and roll on over, to join us for all the fun!

The 3rd Annual Tour De Coop — Register Now!
September 26, 2015

Tour de Coop-2013Do you know about the Tour De Coop? It is a guided and self-guided bicycle tour of urban chicken coops, gardens, and beehives benefiting GrowMemphis: The Food Advisory Council and Revolutions Bicycle Cooperative.

Inspired by our city’s vibrant local food movement and the rise of urban chicken keeping in Memphis, the Tour de Coop will lead cyclists on a guided tour of gardens, chicken coops and bee hives. This year we depart from Overton Square, and view the neighborhoods of Midtown, Evergreen, Overton Park, Annesdale, and Cooper-Young.

Read more about the Tour De Coop and get your tickets, today!

Volunteer Opportunity!

We need leaders and chasers for the Tour De Coop groups.
Email me at info@revolutionsmemphis.com, if you’re interested.

Monday’s Neighborhood SLOW Ride IMG_1547

Monday, Aug 10, 6:45 p.m.: Neighborhood SLOW Ride

Ramble around with us as the sun goes down for some fresh air at the end of a hot day.

We’ll meet in front of the Revolutions Bike Gate. And if you’d like to try one of our Easy Rider Tri-Cycles, we have 10 of them! City bikes and Tri-Cycles will be available to rent, for $5.

This isn’t officially a Kidical Mass ride. But if your child is riding a pedal bike without training wheels, and can go for several blocks, it might be a fun ride to join in, on. We ride very slowly for about 50 minutes!

And remember, you MUST wear a helmet, for all Revolutions sponsored rides. Bring lights, because it might be dark by the time we finish!

Bike to Dinner– RescheduledRevolutionsRecRoom46

Last Wednesday, we were supposed to Bike to Dinner to 3 Angels on Broad. But the weather was crazy. So we’ve postponed our ride until August 19. Join the Facebook event, here.
