Rides, Dinner and a New Way to Give

Another great Bike to Dinner

This week we rode to Pho Phoung LongThough they do not have a bicycle rack, they are always so nice to my family about bring our cargo bike inside the restaurant. We wanted to share our love of their excellent food, so we chose Phoung Long for our July 8, 2015 Bike to Dinner ride. The group of almost 20 folks had a great time!!! Phoung Long has a great location, especially now that Operation Crosstown is happening. Revolutions encourages them to consider installing a good, secure bike rack outside. This would make it even easier for folks to ride their bicycles to your shop. You will find them listed on our Nice to Bicycles Businesses listing. Ride in and say hi, today!

Neighborhood SLOW Ride

Join Revolutions, on Monday July 13 at 6:45 p.m. for a slow and easy ride through our neighborhood. We won’t ride on Cooper, except to cross over as we leave 1st Congo, and we won’t go as far as McLean. Ramble around with us as the sun goes down for some fresh air at the end of a hot day.

We’ll meet in front of the Revolutions Bike Gate. And if you’d like to try one of our Easy Rider Tri-Cycles, we have 10 of them! City bikes and trikes will be available to rent, for $5.

And remember, you MUST wear a helmet, for all Revolutions sponsored rides. Bring lights, because it might be dark by the time we finish!

A Bike Partnership with First Baptist Church – Broad!

Next Sunday, July 19 we plan to ride over to First Baptist Church – Broad! Our two churches are starting a partnership around bicycles! We will ride over to their worship service, and then join them on a group ride. Like First Congo, First Baptist Broad is along a great bike lane. We want to take advantage of that location to have an easy ride down to the Overton Park Bike Gate and back. Yes, it will be hot! But riding a bicycle provides a breeze! So, won’t you plan to join us?! We’ll send out a special email later this week with gathering times and other information.

Coming Up, Soon:
