Note the change in our members’ OPEN SHOP hours:

We over-committed ourselves, so we’re making a change. You can still come in for the Retail Shop Thurs-Sun, 2-6. But the Members’ Open Shop will be limited to Saturday and Sunday, 2-6 and the 1st and 2nd Mondays from 6:30 to 9:00.

What is Overhaul Night?
Overhaul Night is for folks who have taken the Overhaul Class to practice their skills. Get your hands on some more bikes by helping to overhaul some of our donations.
We also welcome folks with previous bike wrenching skills. This is definitely an experienced wrenching night (But Mondays are a great time for beginners!).
Overhaul night offers the opportunity to work on different types of brakes, bottom brackets, etc as you help us get bikes ready for folks to ride.

Neighborhood SLOW Ride

Monday, June 29 at 6:45 p.m.

f0a5f73c-5d4e-40b6-845a-dcbe0dfc5540Join Revolutions for a slow and easy ride through our neighborhood. We won’t ride on Cooper, except to cross over as we leave 1st Congo, and we won’t go as far as McLean.
Ramble around with us as the sun goes down for some fresh air at the end of a hot day.

We’ll meet in front of the Revolutions Bike Gate, at 6:45. And if you’d like to try one of our Easy Rider Tri-Cycles,
we have 10 of them!

Sending love to our friend, Mary Riddle11216842_604961541925_1286302571273675564_n

Mary Riddle, of Roots Memphis, suffered a severe farming accident several weeks ago. She’ll have very limited mobility for some time. But we’re excited to be able to share a hand-cranked tricycle with her, when she is ready. Thanks to Mark Allen, for saving this trike out of a donation of bikes to Revolutions; Keith Norman for funding some needed new parts; David Evans, for getting the trike in smooth, working order and Teddy Crum, for riding it around the neighborhood, to figure out how it works and to be able to explain it to Mary!!

Roots Memphis is a First Congregational Church Shared Space partner.
