Rock ‘n Romp     988837_10152680672802896_4654035891798901906_n

On April 11, Rock ‘n Romp kicks off their 2015 season at Mud Island River Park. Don’t you think it’s about time for a Revolutions Group Ride?! It’s a long way down, and Revolutions may have a booth to set up, so let’s give ourselves plenty of time to get there. We’ll meet in front of Revolutions’ Bike Gate at Noon. We’ll plan to roll out at 12:15, but check our calendar and Facebook page for updates.
Rock ‘n Romp is meant for parents with kids to be able to go to a rock show. So, let be sure that those of us with children bring enough kids to get in the adults without kids! They have food & beer, free of charge, while supplies last. And they ask that each adult donate $5. Kids are free.

Be sure to bring your bike, in working order. And remember, all Revolutions sponsored rides require helmets!

Bikenomics — Not just for Women!!!

Oh no! I heard this week that some of you men haven’t read Bikenomics, yet, because I’ve been promoting it for the next Women’s Bike Chat. You fellas are invited to read it, too. And everyone is invited to meet the author, Elly Blue, when she  visits us for Dinner and Bikes, in May. We have copies of Bikenomics: How Bicycling Can Save the Economy, in the Shop and at Global Goods. Or buy a copy from us, online and we’ll send it to you.
