Car-Free Challenge and Pics from the Weekend

Are you participating in Memphis’ 30 Day Car-Free Challenge? If not, it’s not too late! The city is encouraging us all to try  different modes of transport, even if only for a day. There are eighteen Model Citizens who are blogging about their experience. I find them honest, engaging and filled with tips to consider if you do want to try a different way to get to work, the store or just out.

Pics from the weekend

Were you outside this weekend? Of course you were, because it was gorgeous!!! Wee Ride Memphis, as well as a couple hundred others on bikes rode up to the Overton Park Bike Gate for the official Opening Ceremony. You can follow the above link for more photos of the fun!

And an Apology:

By now, I’m sure you’ve figured out that Revolutions was closed, today, for Easter. I really hope you saw last week’s newsletter or the calendar because you can see that I am late getting this week’s newsletter out. Sorry about that. Regular hours this coming week: Thursday 6:30 to 8:30 and Sunday (April 27) 2-4.

We’re working hard on getting some more things on the calendar, too. We’re looking to host some classes, some more group rides and maybe even a Bike Rodeo soon! We’ve heard some interest in all of these, so stay tuned! And we hope to see you around the Shop.
