Thanks to all the volunteers that have come by the shop already this year. We’ve only been open since Sunday, and we have enjoyed two great turnouts thus far.
Beginning on Sunday, January 15, 2011, we will no longer be using the entrance found at the rear of the church. As many of you are aware, we have been working for over one year now on preparing a new entrance that can be accessed off of Cooper Street. We will begin using this new entrance this coming Sunday and into the future.
The entrance can be accessed via a small courtyard and garden located between the north building (where Revolutions is located) and the central building (admin offices) on the First Congregational complex.
Revolutions volunteers and members can still use the parking in the rear of the church, but will be required to walk around the building to get into the shop via the courtyard entrance.On-street parking is also available on Cooper Street directly in front of the church.
This new entrance has access to a ramp which will help everyone move bikes in and out the shop in a much easier way. We will have signs posted with directions to the new entrance to help guide everyone in the shop.
We also have some students from the White Station High School Art Club working on some projects that will help decorate the entrance and celebrate the good work being accomplished by volunteers at Revolutions.
We look forward to seeing you all in 2012!
