Volunteers Needed!

September 3, 2009 · 1 Comment

Over next two weeks, Revolutions has the opportunity to represent bicyclists all over the community, and we could use your help manning the Revolutions booth at these events. No special skills are needed. Just show up and be willing to tell people about all of the good things happening at Revolutions. Please let us know if you can make your self available for a piece of any of the following events:

Any amount of time you can help us out would be appreciated. All hours worked will be put towards volunteer hour credit for your membership or membership renewal.

Need A Truck

April 29, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Hello all,
We have been given an opportunity to receive a rather large donation of bikes and bike parts this Saturday, May 2, 2009, but need some help picking it all up. Please let me know if you have a truck and would be able pick up a load of donations from St. George’s School in Collierville between 4pm-5pm and haul the donations to Revolutions Shop.

Thanks,
Kyle

January 14, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Hello all,  I hope you are enjoying the opening days of the new year! Take a look at this link if you have a moment:

YOUR CHANCE TO SPEAK UP
The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) has created the following site, giving you the opportunity to tell President-elect Obama and the new Congress what they need to do to improve transportation in the United States. Who knows–with all the talk going on about infrastructure rehabilitation, maybe your comments really will make a difference. Even if you have nothing to add to the discussion, by watching the highlighted video you can learn what one of the world’s most seasoned travelers has to say on the subject.

There are a remarkable number of people talking about cycling infrastucture here–add your voice!
