Come out for a Great Day of Wolf River Experiences!

Wrap up your long, hot summer by celebrating Wolf River Day—It’s Cool to Go Green! Saturday, September 12, 2009, from 10:00am to 5:00pm on the V&E Greenline at Avalon and Tutwiler in Midtown Memphis.  In conjunction with other events scheduled by the Wolf River Conservancy, Revolutions will have maintenance demonstrations, secured bicycle parking, a bicycle decorating station, and a bicycle parade!  For the full event schedule and volunteer opportunities see the attached flyer or visit www.wolfriver.org

10th Annual Midnight Classic – Wear Your Revolutions Shirt!

Beat The Heat Bicycle Ride

Join Revolutions Bike Shop and Friends on a slow to moderately paced bicycle ride to some of Memphis’s favorite cold dessert spots. Bring some money for dessert. The ride should be approximately 10-12 miles in length and last about 3 hours including eating time.

Bicycle Film Festival, May 29th–30th

Hello Everyone,

The Bicycle Film Festival is hitting Memphis May 29 – 30. A bicycle-filled weekend of events!

Screenings are likely to sell out, so it is suggested you buy your tickets now for the low price of $7 at www.bicyclefilmfestival.com. There will be two amazing programs of shorts on Friday May 29 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and a screening of the acclaimed documentary, Road to Roubaix, on Saturday at 3 p.m. All screenings are at the Brooks Museum.

Bikes Not Bombs

Saturday, May 9th, 2009 @ Noon
BIKES NOT BOMBS, A historical tour of downtown Memphis by bicycle led by Dr. Josh Gorman

Please bring your bike, your helmet, and a water bottle. Ride will average 10 mph, or a “beginner’s pace.” Children 12 and under should be pulled in a trailer, a bike tag along, or placed in a child seat.

$15 for the Bikes not Bombs event provides a t-shirt, spoke card, and schwag bag with some other stuff (namely water bottles and possibly some spoke bracelets care of Dennis)
